Clearly, I’m obsessed with the black and white theme.

Thanks for the memories. =)

I’ll never see paper cranes the same way ever again. Haha.

Love,

Poster/Booklet/Publicity girl =)

I’m your biggest fan, I’ll follow you until you love me

It’s over!

Thank you so much to everyone who came down on show night, as well as anyone else who’ve lent their generous and kind support. We couldn’t have done it without you! (:

Paparazzi-ers 2009,
I hope you came out of this experience with many fond memories, affirmed relationships and strong characters. This was a learning experience for many of us, and both you and I know you have done your best. To those who have fallen out of love with theatre, I hope this has rekindled the flame (although, the fire never really dies out), and to those who’s drama experience had started here, I hope it’s the beginning of a new and exciting chapter. Drama and theatre is not easy, but there’s something about the magic of the stage that draws us back in over and over again; I think those of us who’ve returned to the stage can attest to that.

Thank you for your endless contributions to the success of this production, even those that may have gone unseen or unrecognised. Every bit of your hard work counted to shape the outcome of The Concrete Skies. We may have had disagreements, but I hope that this experience could only make us stronger.

Keep the passion going.

Love,
Nuraini

The Concrete Skies – Dress Run sneak peek

Today we had our much-anticipated dress run – full run with no interruptions, with light and sound cues and with transitions – all as though it was the actual show. Another tiring day full of origami (you will see why tonight!), duct and masking tape, and scene cleanups.

Sneak peek of the crew, drawing out their action plan:

“The cast is nothing without them, and they are nothing without the cast.”

Although it’d been a tiring day, being the attention-loving people that we are (hey, we are putting up a drama production after all) we’re still all smiles. ;)

The road hasn’t been smooth or easy, but at the end of it, we can only come out stronger.

Love,

The Concrete Skies – Tech Run sneak peek

We finally bumped in yesterday afternoon, leaving behind rehearsals in CS. Tech Run Day is known for being THE most trying and stress-inducing day of any stage performance – lights have to be programmed, rigged and gelled – and everyone has to be on the ball to be ready for their cues as well as any quick changes.

Here’s a little sneak peek at what went down at ACJC Centre of Performing Arts:

We’d really like to feed you with more photos, but really, wouldn’t that spoil the surprise?

It was a super long and tiring day yesterday and everyone has really been working very hard to bring this script to life onstage, from the producers right down to the last sub-comm/crew member. So please, do give your support. If you haven’t gotten your tickets, you can drop us a message here on Facebook, an email at paparazzi.sci@gmail.com, or contact Yanwei our ticketing manager at 81530345.

See you on Saturday! (:

Love,
Nuraini
